Hello there! Welcome! My name (as you may have guessed) is Serena and this is my blog! This blog is where I post my thoughts and musings on whatever I’m reading, watching or listening to at the moment.

Last year I graduated from the University of Alabama with a master’s degree in journalism where I also got my undergraduate degree in 2018. I spent my time at UA working with multiple on-campus publications including contributing to The Crimson White and Alice Magazine, as well as serving as editor-in-chief of the New College Review.

In college, I worked for several publications on and off campus including The Crimson White, Alice Magazine, New College Review, The Tuscaloosa News, Alabama Heritage Magazine and The Anniston Star. I worked as a writer, fact checker, designer and editor.

In my free time, I likes to enjoy a good book, binge some television, or perhaps tackle a crafting project. And I firmly believe in the therapeutic power of a good binge-watch or reading session.
